About Buffalo Brooke
A five-star self-catering lodge in the Mjejane Game Reserve, on the Crocodile River opposite Kruger National Park.

Where the lodge sits
Buffalo Brooke sits in Mjejane Game Reserve, on the Crocodile River, which forms the southern edge of Kruger National Park. Mjejane is one of the last large stretches of untouched bush along the river.
The lodge looks over 10 kilometres of undisturbed river frontage. Guests have seen all of the Big Five (opens in a new tab) from here.
Buffalo and elephant herds come down to the river. Leopard, lion and hyena are seen here, and often wild dog. Waterbuck, kudu, bushbuck and impala are common, and in the dry months zebra and giraffe come to drink.
Guests spend a lot of time bird watching. Along the property the river runs through reed beds, rocky channels and deeper pools, with plenty of hippos and crocodiles. Where it meets the floodplain, animals coming down to drink are easy to spot. The gallery has recent sightings.

"From the moment you arrive you cannot help but be in awe of this incredible five-star self-catering lodge. It is only once you step outside that you can really appreciate this hidden location, overlooking an infinity pool and gazing across the Crocodile River into Kruger National Park."
"There you are in the middle of the bush, but have everything one would expect in a top-market city establishment."
